The irony of this statement in Parliament is that the question was directed to Scott Morrison who waved it across to Angus Taylor as Minister for Energy.
Angus's response was correct,
"Of course, any gas project that meets stringent environmental approvals, both state and federal,should proceed, but it does have to meet those preconditions."
NOPTA has now recommended PEP11 applications for approval 5 times since January 2020.
