maya.m, Many of us have lost our own little buddies in the past where now we have moved on and yet there will always be that gap in our life that we can reflect the wonderful times, the sad times as well as the funny times that we had with them. Getting another buddy doesn't fill the gap and never will. Yet, it does help in the healing process over time. I lost two of my beautiful cats over 20 years ago and still have photos of them that I cherish. Lost another cat that I loved about 7 years ago through terrible circumstances.

Great post mate.Yes i can't imagine my life without a dog would be big hole that nothing else could fill.Whenever i have had a pet pass away
I always say i will never ever get another one,the pain is so great and overwhelming but after a bit of time has passed i cave in and give another dog a great home to live in that will be loved with all my heart.Dogs are the best and better than people any day.
