I lost my beautiful girl, a kelpie/ Sheppard cross, two years ago and it hurts every day. I rescued her when she was six and she lived with us for another eight years before she passed. I tried to make every day of her life special and I know she was happy with us. Four months after she died we rescued a one year old Koolie/ Dalmatian cross, he is living like a king and is very happy. Despite the pain of losing beloved pets, I will keep rescuing dogs until the day I die. I am at my happiest when me and my furry buddy are together.
