Build quality is very good, solid aluminium casings. Warm to touch but not hot.
The white light is bright, perhaps a 35W halogen replacement, looks a bit harsh though, too blue. The warm white light is less bright, maybe 25W equivalent but a much gentler colour. Light beam is fairly 'spot light' though with a 30 degree angle (or thereabouts). Most noticable with the white light.
I use the warm whites in areas where light isn't so important (hallways etc). Still have halogens where it matters. Alternating the 'whites' and 'warm whites' seems to work fairly well.
Price is outstanding, delivery is free. Worth an experiment.
