Progress Update Led Central have started selling a 10w Warm White bulb in E27 and B22. While this is not a major lighting manufacturer (Philips Osram etc.) it is a standard bulb and the light level sounds pretty good at approx 560 Lumen (potentially a 60w replacement). These specific products run pretty hot (you are not supposed to use with enclosed fixtures) and are still not that cheap. However they probably are an important stepping stone to true main stream products in Australia.
So almost main stream products appear to be starting to arrive even if not via the major manufacturers. If anyone has tried these products or other 240 standard bulbs newly available in Australia please respond to this thread as it would be great to have some reviews.
