    If it is true that the board is planning to fill the vacant directorships with their (read Stephen Jones') puppets before Friday's meeting (which is an unethical and possibly illegal attempt to stop shareholders from changing the board), then one wonders why they would bother with this when they must know that, as a consequence, they will all be booted out at the AGM on 29 of this month.

    The only reason for such an action that I can think of is that they plan to sign some deal with a pharma between the 2 meetings - a deal that would not be approved by the shareholders' proposed new directors.

    I think ASIC should be taking a good hard look at this!
