at some point most of the posters on the World politics forum probably bought shares

so here's an example of voter registrations that some or most should understand

when you fill in Proxy form to register your vote in let's say to groups of Directors fighting over control of a company

the form comes back with your resolutions either for / against / abstain

On top of that you have to

Fill in your FULL name
proper address
sign in the right 1 of 3 boxes as a individual/ company or joint partnership

if you get any of these wrong such as writing in your PO Box instead of your residential address

or

signing the wrong box or leaving 1 signature off if your shares registered as 2 signatures

or

Using a tick when it's been deemed on the proxy for should move markers with an X

they proxy can be thrown out

I've seen it many times happen over many years

In the US voting system the ppl counting the votes have some authority to Deem valid or invalid these voting forms in regards to the persons signature matching that which is registered and saved in the system or matching other forms sent at the same time

that is either being abused or not adhered to

how do we know this

Those counting the votes are supposed to have other ppl within close proximity holding them to doing the right thing

but in many instances it's been proven that the ppl supposed to be watching them have been banned from coming with 50 feet and often 109 feet of those approving registers votes / ballots coming in

that's what you call
