I wonder what will be the next step : a move towards the regions or towards the unit market ?
Of course, there are good reasons why the unit market has underperformed so much the house market.
According to the most recent data, the house prices were increasing more than units in Sydney, Adelaide and Perth (Melbourne, only exception).
Across Australia, the median house value is 0.8 m vs 0.62 m for units.
Just looking at capital cities, the median house value is 0.92 m vs 0.65 m for units.
