1 strategy for BHP/ BLT is to return to domicile: Australia and close out non-productive mines. RIO will not do this as their Mongolian mine is a great value money-spinner with FCF attached:
BHP's offshore stuff must be checked as to whether it is a productive use of capex spend.
BHP should leave Vale to rot in its own sewer, it is like a hippopotamus, altho that is probably an unfortunate indictment to hippos.
