Finder analysis of Australian Bureau of Statistics data showed that in 2020, Australians spent an average of $1891 on household alcohol – up $270 on 2019.Sounds very plausible, 14% increase considering the extensive amount of extra time people spent at home. I do agree though, there needs to be more awareness on the use of alcohol. That's generically, regardless of COVID-19.
