Thanks for the link Vintage. Read it a couple of times. Not sure I fully comprehend but the light and dust issues would likely seem relatively easily fixed either with a payment to the complainants or mitigation strategies. This should take care of the the contentions that were fully allowed to be heard. Those partly admitted for hearing I expect relate to the ground water and other environmental issues that would have been addressed in the environmental compliance work done to date and accepted by the NRC.

Looks positive to me but who knows. The tone of the response to the appellants is pretty heavy and not particularly friendly but does seem to leave the door open for a negotiated settlement, at least on the quality of life impacts.

Might be talking out of my proverbial though.
