    $43b has been pretty consistent from both the Libs and the Labs, (outside the political rhetoric).

    The NBN Co had spent over $2b less than budgeted when the Libs took over in 2013, the NBN Co had been reducing connection costs prior to that, and there were other options available for the NBN Co to reduce costs in specific instances. And as I said previously, Mike Quigley kept a tight reign on costs, he wasn't scared to ditch unfavourable contracts and negotiate better ones.

    So what was proven incorrect, and by who?
