NBN just arrived to my area, and even the most expensive plans cannot match this download speed.
Sure the upload speed will be faster on NBN, as cable has limited upload speed, but it isn't particularly important to me to have fast uploads.
i have 18 months til I have to switch, so I won't be switching a day sooner.
Both Labor and Libs botched it. Labor could have never installed it for the price they guestimated, and libs totally screwed it in the end putting media converters from fibre to copper.
These units they install to convert fibre to copper need a power supply. They will stuff up and continually need replacing as they age, water, dust, heat problems. What a disaster.
The NBN should have never been started. Waste of taxpayers money.
