Kennedy isn't an asset to anybody: he milked his family name: poor bastard has been saddled with it all his life and never figured out how to jettison it (hypothetically assuming he may have ever wanted to).
Got a bit lucky in 2024: 2 appalling candidates for President made a 3rd party / independent option better placed to get attention.
And being an anti-vaxxer from way-back gave him cred amongst people still traumatised and confused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

But lo and behold, being a Kennedy didn't do much to cast of his innate weirdness. From conspiracy theorist, to brain worm, to road-kill dead bear cub dumped in the centre of NYC, to pitching for a job from Harris (rejected out of hand) to pitching for a job from Trump.

The 'Weird' team just got some more 'Weird' on board. Before now, 'Weird' was a catchy label. Now Weird really is weird.

You think that's a boost for Trump?

    Ehrr: no.
