There are probably forces at work in respect of the Judge.
She will be aware of the significance of the LAMP project and the Government involvement in securing Lynas to Malaysia in the first place. She will also be aware of the links between the political powers that be and the judiciary. To knock the LAMP back at this stage may well put her tenure as judge at risk post the next election.
I am sure she likes being a judge.
