cant short?

there was almost 18m shorted on thursday

i am not sure why they aggressively pound this stock when it is on a p/e of 3 times going fwd with more growth in production to come.. but they do

i am guessing on fri there was a heap more shorted too as the aggressive nature was indicative of similar selling style to thursday

i dont mind shorting but you shldnt be able to sell something down to a new level by shorting it..they should bring back the uptick rule..ie you have to sit on the offer and get taken out to put your short on...after all stock markets are there to rase capital for growth not for the benefit of destroying companies and raising their cost of capital
