that's why it should be so fantastic you an do the test for bird flu in the field, on the spot and if my medical knowledge is correct and i understand the report, it will even detect "carriers" with NO clinical signs. these "carriers" are the most important , as they shed the virus into the environment; they are not affected and because they dont appear sick, are not tested. they are the unsuspected ,undetected,speaders of death. further if it is anything like the "snap" tests available for other viral diseases, ANYONE, ANYWHERE ie no power, no lab, and probably just one reagent added to the tester along with the sample and its done!
the above is purely my opinion,based on a 2nd grade science class. comments please (on the test)
