dunno about a trial account, but ig aren't bad if you have a small account and want to trade a variety of markets.. certainly better than cmc from what i hear.. transaction costs are more expensive and once you've used them for a while you'll find they position their price to maximise their profit so don't believe the 'no brokerage' bit.. but really the better of the two majors, cmc and ig.
