Eventually there will probably be a , or maybe several , alternatives to Lithium . However in the near to medium term it’s hard to see Lithium being displaced . Most of the manufacturers of EVs and batteries have so much time , money and technology invested in Lithium based products , it would be difficult to change quickly . However new technology is probably the main threat to Lithium miners . Time will tell , the whole “ all your eggs in one basket “ springs to mind .
