Over the week seven members have resigned from the board of directors for Unilife Corp., a medical-device company that filed for bankruptcy earlier this year.
It is unclear if any directors remain. Efforts to reach UnilifeTuesday morning were not immediately successful.
The company's most recent annual report, filed in October 2016 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, listed seven directors.
The move follows a filing in bankruptcy court of a proposed agreement settling claims involving the company, current and former executives, directors and other plaintiffs in pending shareholder suits. A hearing on the settlement is slated for Nov. 28 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Delaware district.
The members resigning over the last week are:
Jeff Carter, a board member since 2006, according to the annual report
Mary Kate Wold, a board member since 2010 and the panel's chairman, according to the annual report
John Lund, a board member since 2009, according to the annual report
Harry Hamill, a board member since 2015, according to the annual report
Michael Kamarck, a board member since 2016, according to the annual report
Rosemary Crane, a board member since 2016, according to the same press release
The resignations did not result from any disagreements with the company, Unilife said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Unilife sold off a range of assets earlier this year, including its headquarters building at 250 Cross Farm Lane in Conewago Township, York County.
The company declared bankruptcy in April.
