....will Powell backflip? He will have to decide if it is the market he should save OR the purchasing power of the common people...and thats a great dilemma.
....How will Powell shoot himself in the foot? By backflipping and place rate rises on hold, the markets will rebound strongly , then inflation takes hold and shoots higher and the Fed becomes totally Behind the Curve, at which time either he then has to make ground accelerating the rate increases by a bigger quantum or the market starts to collapse after the rebound on fears that even higher rate rises will be on the cards.
It suggest that 2022 is not a market to Buy and Hold nor even trade , it might even be better being out of it altogether until the coast is clear.
