Big swings against NSW LNP including a likely loss of Bega seat and a whopping 19pc swing in Gladys safe seat all point to political woes for the LNP and could well suggest that Scomo could be toast in the weeks ahead , a spill has just received a big notch higher in terms of probability.
BUT as I said in the case of Gladys, that her successor would be a worse leader than her, the same also applies for Scomo’s successor should a spill result in yet another successful knived PM. Both would be unelected leaders.
The LNP in moving further out to the right no longer have the centre right moderate voice that most Australians were accustomed to since the Howard days.
