    Earlier in my posts, you saw how WeWork will likely displace property brokers , how software app for driverless trucks will cause a dislocation for many truck driver jobs and now as you above, the landscape for restaurants is also about to change with implications for landlords as well.

    Technology is changing the world and the way the world used to be, while it is not necessarily a bad thing but there will be a clear wealth transfer from people who are in the old economy to those in the new economy with further concentration of economic power in the hands of a few , including namely the likes of Amazon (who is into virtually every aspect of the economy now). All this would result in more unemployment, social unrest and the widening in the gap between the rich and poor worldwide. So it wouldn't surprise that the ability of federal governments to maintain their tax share of the income will likely only be eroded as you can almost certainly bet that these tech giants and newborns will find ways to minimise their tax obligations.
