When I meant by market participants looking at where prices go in the very short term, I meant looking at the Dow futures, sudden stock and commodity price movement on a daily basis....it has already been proven countless times you cannot depend reliably on the Dow futures as a guide for market direction during the ASX session...US GDP data out tonight as with the all important PCE price (which the Fed uses more than CPI) and Powell speaks at 11pm AEST.
