...In markets, cyclicality is a given, it is only a question of when a change in direction happens. It is never a bad trade to lock in gains while the going is good, and I think market participants are already doing that.

If we zoom out, though, the story changes. The worst performing stock in the S&P 500 this year, Netflix (-70%), is still best performer over the last 15 years with a 6,000+% gain.
