    Hi 1Ronnie,

A bit surprised that inflation continues to accelerate in so many countries in June.
According to the last figures I saw, it accelerated in Spain, France and Japan.
Germany seems to be the only major exception.

One explanation I could find was : even if inflation is moderating for some categories of products, it is also broadening to more product categories.

Yesterday, we also learned that core PCE price (in the US) continued to moderately decelerate at + 4.7 % in May vs + 4.9 % in April.
Total PCE was still at the same level than in April at + 6.3 %.

Overall, I find it difficult to know if the next inflation figure in the US will show that inflation has now peaked in the US.
