You have to feel that animal spirits are creeping into gold stocks now, especially at the lower end , possibly driven by MEI.
Well, if you buy a stock like MEI , you have to be prepared for volatility and that's exactly what I got, but a $1k is worth a punt nonetheless, especially with better gold prices ahead that I am expecting.
Gold has barely moved since 13/9 and we are already on a roll. And I have also added WGX into the mix , lovely chart and can possibly gain most amongst the heavier gold stocks.
For spec punts, weightage here is just 1/3 of those above it, you wont need a lot of it if its going to be a multibagger, and if it turns out to be trash then nothing much to lose, a gold lottery if you like.
Fed will cut rates tonight, good for gold. If Fed unexpectedly sits tight and not cut, equities will tank and gold will do well as well. IMO can't lose and the forward outlook into the next 5 years looks shiner for the relic.
No, not positioning big time but I see it as an early opportunity to thrive in a much more challenging market environment. Not to be regarded as an investment but an INSURANCE (so you wont need to bother to sell, just a modest buy and hold , amazing I'm saying Buy and Hold).
