Crown restaurants closed due to labour shortages: Blackstone

New Crown Resorts owner Blackstone is trying fill 2000 vacancies across its casinos and hotels amid the labour crunch hitting the hospitality sector, said Australian boss Chris Tynan.
“We’re encouraging a bring a friend to work day,” Tynan said.
“We can’t staff our restaurants. That is a challenge with owning operating assets.”
On the positive side of hotel ownership, Tynan said was the ability to lift cash flows more quickly than traditional asset classes, where tenants are on longer-term leases.
