Mainstream mantra often scoffs at being 100% in cash, especially in high inflationary environment. People tend to assess things based on what has happened, not what will or could happen. The irony is that while you hear many mainstream pundits saying we are not in a GFC like situation, the Credit Suisse saga (backroom bailout) and the insolvency status of a number of US regional banks are already indications that we should not be lulled into complacency which could cost us dearly. If this recession morphs into something nasty, the high leverage the world is at provides the exact fertile ground for a meltdown that could even surpass GFC. And by then, when it happens, you'd wish you had rid of all your stocks and be watching like a vulture from a top and averting being a financial victim of Big Kahuna 2.0.

Time is not on our side as the financial pain beckons in just 2 weeks away....and one trading day can make a big difference.

Question, Ronnie. In a potential GFC 2.0, how ‘safe’ do you think our big 4 banks are to hide our cash whilst there’s carnage all around us? Do you think our big banks are well positioned to withstand the wave?
