...now what is it that local market participants see in our local banks that their overseas peers don't in their banks?

...or is it the case that people resort to buying banks when allocating more money to ASX in response to a perceived bull market rally in Wall St?

...international banks are shunning or lightening up on banks probably in response to new concerns over regional banks in US, but here in Australia, people are buying banks. Am I missing something? Or is it that money into ASX avoiding resource stocks, so by default, bank stocks ended up as beneficiaries. Or local market expecting doubtful debts provision previously written off, to be written back on increased optimism about prospect of lower rates- however, RBA just 'killed' that narrative.

..all that likely to suggest recent optimism in local bank stocks could be misplaced, out of sync with international counterparts.
