> buying the wrong stock, period, and sticking with it for far too long
> buying the 'right' stock at the wrong time, never recovering then selling at a loss when correction arrives
> buying the 'right' stock at the right time, making bundles, then the 'right' stock became the 'wrong' stock and continued sticking with it, only to lose all of the gains, and entering a loss
> speculating when they think they're investing
> cutting winners short and hanging onto dogs too long
> buying when everyone is buying and then selling when everyone is selling [aka blindly following the crowd]
Investing is never easy. But investing is a lot easier in periods of positive macros.
Investing without attention to risk management can be like walking a tight corridor blindfolded, you can be lucky if it is flat, but there could be steep steps along the way.
