    ....many darling resource stocks trading at, near or above $1B market cap that haven't produced a single cent of revenue.

    ....they would eventually lose their premiums once the 'score' is known - the score being the reality contrasted against perceived greater hope and expectations. Sometimes market participants already know that valuation of their stock don't stack up against new reality of fundamentals but they continue to hold due to 'hope and dreams' and sitting on a premium, that eventually caves in when market conditions no longer justify and sustains it.

    The "Hopes and Dreams" ratio is the difference between the current #value of the #market that is NOT explained by underlying #fundamentals. In other words, this is the premium investors are paying for #equities.
