In my honest opinion, crypto is ruining the young generation. My friend’s 22-year old son made over $300k with crypto in 2021 and quit his day job. He later lost it on some shady investments. Now he spends 99% of his time locked in his room looking for his next “lucky shot” with crypto. No amount of intervention has worked. My friend is afraid that he’s lost his son to gambling. What do you think of this?

...I think this is sad, winning a lot of money at such a young age has 'killed' any ambition to pursue a career.
...a career is more than money, it is character building and learning
...and the saddest thing about making quick money is that more likely than not, it is lost back either through lavish spending or losing it back speculating. Which is why I am most conscious never to lose back what has been gained in prior opportunities.
