....in 2007, I recalled that the US subprime loan disaster was not even well understood to pose a looming threat until when it started to implode,....because back then, we did not have access to timely information provided with analyses online via Twitter, we only had mainstream news.
.....now almost everyone who tunes in can understand the issues/threats we face, yet we are unnerved by it, we have become so insensitised to it that no one cares.....until it implodes (of course).
.....how is America going to resolve this problem? So much has been written about China's property mess, but this is the canary in the coal mine no one wants to talk about much. And this the banks' assets- yet banks are being bought like no tomorrow.
More than $94 billion of U.S. Commercial Real Estate is currently distressed with another $201 billion on the verge of falling into that category as well
