There may be a good chance that the Fed may have to stay pat in Sept, in response to avoiding exacerbating the yen carry trade reversal, and markets would have to decline to reflect the anticipated Fed pivot not happening this Sept. If the Fed proceeds anyhow, it further reduces the interest rate differential and force Yen higher causing more pain for the yen carry traders. So either way, it has placed the Fed is a difficult position.
