Silver stock SVL crashed -40pc today on news its development consent is now null and void following a loss on an appeal. This is shocking.
Once again this illustrates that precious metals equities are not physical precious metals. Company specific risks are abound and can come from the left field.
It is unfortunate for those who held on the stock hoping and waiting for the silver bull rally. Recently my experience with Endeavour Silver also turned sour after the company reported a loss despite silver running higher.
This is what I meant by
1. Buy and hold for longer
2. If the stock price isn’t moving higher while the underlying commodity price is, then market is telling you something isn’t right. Company stock price has been grinding sideways to lower since start of 2023 while silver has been moving higher.
