..this below is one take of what's coming, its someone's opinion, not mine but it is not far fetched in my view.

..one thing we should expect is that Bibi would not just be sitting back, and he will seize the opportunity to fulfill strategic goals.

..all pointing towards increase global bi-polarity and alliances. Not good and too sad to speak of.

Quick take: Biden's comments on airstrikes on Iranian oil facilities While many people are judging based on the headline, we need to look at Biden's exact sentence: He said, “We're discussing that. I think that would be a little... anyway”.

We can infer a few things from this sentence. If there are discussions about Israel bombing Iranian oil facilities all the way up to the President of the United States, it means that airstrikes on Iranian oil facilities are on Israel's option table.

If there are discussions at the highest levels, I think that Israel is actually willing to do it and is looking at whether or not to do it.

I don't think Biden would be in favor of such a strike, but the problem is that the US administration has been losing control of Israel over the last few months.

What we've seen over the last two or three months is that Israel is increasingly breaking away from the limits set by the US and doing what they want.

With the presidential election just a month away, it is very dangerous to think that Netanyahu will unconditionally accept Biden's demands and refrain from acting against Iran. If Israel attacks Iranian assets, Iran will retaliate against Israel as it has vowed, but the US should help with the “defense” if not the “offense” of Israel.

The next Iranian retaliation will be more powerful than this week's ballistic missile attack, but the US cannot abandon Israel's security either. So Netanyahu has a safety net of last resort.

    And let's think about it.

If Israel's attack options are 'hit nuclear facilities' and 'hit oil facilities'... and it's pressuring the US to accept one or the other... what will the US choose, given that there is no option of 'no attack'? Wouldn't it choose 'hit oil facilities'?

In conclusion, whether Biden intended it or not, the fact that those words came out of his mouth suggests that there was indeed a discussion at the highest levels about striking Iranian oil facilities.

And if there has been such a discussion at the highest levels, I think there's a pretty good chance it could be realized.
