...this partially explains why S&P500 as an index makes little sense- it should be S&P7 and S&P493.
...if EPS for the S&P500 is growing, its only because of the top7 or so, then we would always believe that the US market is doing well when in fact the largest top 10 market cap stocks being world class moat could make enough money and growth to represent all 500 companies.
Another quarter of zero earnings growth for the S&P 493.
