@1ronnie I am asking your permission to reference this article by Jamie Seidel on another, rather more basic, thread on HC Posters are mostly in festive mood celebrating Trump's victory - not realising the similarity to what Boris Johnson did to Britain - Boris was also a consummate showman and liar - and finally the chickens came home to roost - after the damage was done. Trump's mooted trade policies do have the potential of damaging Australia - ; - but then America has always had its shares of inward-looking presidents . . . ( - like I wouldn't mind if the Aukus deal were cancelled - waste of money and of absolutely no use 15 or 20 years hence - IF there is a danger from outside aggression it will eventuate in the more immediate future with no submarines, except conventional ones to 'defend' our vast island continent.)
