Have I turned bullish? No, ASX is not. US is but you have to know what to buy and when to sell quickly.
Not a time to Buy and Hold IMO

Have I remained bearish? Bearish to me means Short, so no I have no positions in BBUS/BBOZ and have not ever thinking of shorting any stock.

Have I stayed sidelined? Yes, but I established a small weekend fund (capped) brokerage free to trade (I don't want to use the word invest because people think invest must be long term; in my books, we have to be nimble in current market environment) largely in ETFs (BTC ETFs, Gold ETFs), Silver ETF, MSTR and a small number of ASX micro caps). Thinking small allocation to the invested classes that can generate the highest returns with low company specific risks.

Not bullish is not meaning bearish as many want to see in dichotomy. If you are not bullish, you must be bearish.

The bears have been proven wrong all of 2024 to date, but despite indices moving higher, I sense that many market participants have been caught on the wrong side of trades, losing in 2024 despite US making all time highs. Obviously the prior favourite sectors like lithium, uranium had a torrid year, ditto resource stocks large and small -the winners have been some of the mom and dad type of large blue-chip investment stocks like banks.

Winning Is Not Losing per Vern Gowdie. Losing while Wall St makes all time highs makes it worse. Months ago, I warned that that could happen.

There's a Time and Place for Everything. There's a Time to Buy, a Time to Sell, a Time to Hold and Every time to know when to do Something....because Doing Nothing Is Doing Something.
