So after nearly 3 years and up to 1 million dead or injured, Zelensky is prepared to settle on worse terms than if he sought out a diplomatic solution in the first place. He has lost the Donbas region already, so he is happy to concede what he has already lost.
Putin won't accept Nato membership so it won't happen. Zelensky will have to accept neutrality.
