There are those that are highly risky that could go pear shape and fall significantly, but at least everyone knows it is. Micro cap and biotech stocks are no different, an FDA approval for a new drug for a biotech is somewhat similar to US establishing a BTC Strategic Reserve- it leads to wider adoption and wider adoption leads to higher prices.
At least they are not the more established stocks that are deemed safe and not speculative, but 'betrayed' by their management who pursued sub-optimal decisions, some bordering on being criminal, that have 'robbed' unsuspecting mom and dad investors who entrusted their life savings.
