    ...doesn't it suck that higher inflation is visible in items that we can barely control and locked in but which does not provide us enjoyment.

    ...we don't enjoy car insurance and we can't risk driving around without one, so we can't control it other than seek alternate lower premiums.

    While November CPI inflation was 2.7%, inflation is much higher in many basic necessities:

    1. Car Insurance Inflation: 12.7%
    2. Transportation Inflation: 7.1%
    3. Car Repair Inflation: 5.7%
    4. Homeowner Inflation: 4.9%
    5. Rent Inflation: 4.4%
    6. Hospital Services Inflation: 3.8%
    7. Food Away From Home Inflation: 3.6%
    8. Electricity Inflation: 3.1%

    Headline CPI inflation is at a 4-month high and Core CPI has been 3.3% for 3-straight months.

    The Fed is cutting rates while inflation has leveled off well above their 2% target.

    Is another wave of inflation coming in 2025?
