Introducing a housing crisis by pushing property prices down will be a big blow for our big banks as their assets are largely residential loans collaterised against those properties. They won't want property prices to be cheaper...it is a slippery slope.
There are cheap properties available in some places, except that those are not where people want to buy.
So all people can do is whinge....instead, people should place the onus on themselves to work towards it. Get creative.
