It is a Mugs Game trying to trade this market, because Trump is not a man of his words- he can create shock and awe fears then do a reversal and vice versa, so only the insiders know what he will actually do at the end of it.
When you feel you can’t take his word for it ie he is bluffing, then it turns out he is not and just when you start to take it more seriously, he blindsides you with a U turn or semi U turn. Some may say it is all part of negotiations but leaders do not make such negotiations all to public domain - it is as if he is gaming the markets (to his and his teams benefit of course).
So good luck navigating his whims and fancies- I guess what he is trying to show is that he is the boss of our everyday lives.
