Yes, sitting on one's ass not doing housework gets the ire of your partner.
You have to read it right.
Its not that doing nothing is good. It is not celebrating doing nothing.
It is saying if you don't do anything, like not reacting and hoping things are ok or will get better without doing anything, then it is consequential, and will result in an outcome that may not be good therefore it becomes something.
So with the markets, if people Buy and Hold relying on the mantra being correct in all respects, they could regret later not selling when they have the gains. Taking profits is still better than holding for 5 years with no better position and then maybe recovering thereafter.
