Elon is not working for free, please. He is getting rid of public service bureaucrats who are investigating him. And he has not touch all the grants he gets for his SpaceX ventures. He has a personal vendetta against woke because his son became a trans and despises him*.
Neither is Trump. His son Don Jr is making the money for his family. They have access to his planned actions. Plus he charges $5mil for lobbyist meeting with him. There's so many avenues to make money when you have the power.
