My point applies if I own a gold stock or not, and that point was if the individual stocks story is extremely compelling than this may overrule the general advice not to own a gold stock.
I agree that a temporary fall may occur, and that PE's as well will come down but if the earnings are going to go up many times those falls in percentage terms than the general rule should be thrown out without any loss of sleep at all.

I am not spruiking SPR - I bought 400% ago - those paying today's prices get a much poorer deal. False claims do not help. I am discussing the theme and what is wise.
