Trump claims the following :

China "Tariff" is 67%
EU "Tariff" is 39%
Vietnam "Tariff" is 80%

In reality that number is not the Tariff, it is the trade imbalance.

Example: We import 401B from China and export 131B. (401-131)/401= 67%

The real trade-weighted Tariffs are:
China: 4%
EU: 3%
Vietnam: 6%

I ran it by Google's Co-Pilot AI and this is what I got:

US can't hit Vietnam with 46% tariff when Vietnam actually only applied 5.1% on US.

So folks, US tariff rates are far from being reciprocal, they are at levels that is bound to destroy existing trade volumes.
