...so much energy expended, anxiety, uncertainty for nothing.
...if the US had just increased tariffs by 10% across the board for all countries, there probably would not have to be any negotiations to begin with as most countries would still absorb it- and consumers may not even get to see a price hike (if say the exporter and importer both split or share the 10% that goes to the US Govt).
...but it was never just about the tariffs. So, its not a joke.
Trump just made everything that he complains about twice as bad of a problem overnight. What a joke.
